The wide spread use and availability of the Internet is changing the way higher education is delivered. Many more options are now available to working adults than ever before. Classes begin weekly and run about five to six weeks. Classes are taken one at a time. All instructors with the University hold master degrees or doctorates and work in the field in which they instruct.

Regardless of which field one pursues, the university or college where the degree is granted from should be accredited. Accreditation means that a university or college has met certain standards determined by an accrediting association. Accreditation can be given to the institution as a whole or it can be given to a specific program. To ensure the course work one takes will be recognized make sure the institution or the program has been accredited.

Online education is becoming a hot field. As online institutions such as the University of Phoenix, Walden University and DeVry become more popular, there will be more opportunities for online teaching positions as well.
